The Jacob van Lennep is an old barge from the city of Utrecht and was built in 1888. The traditional Dutch barge system has once again been brought to life with the renovation of the Jacob van Lennep and its sister ship the Hildebrand. These boats are ideal for 15 to 60 guests.
The classically styled interior with its rustic atmosphere give an authentic touch to your tour of the canals of Amsterdam. This is truly an original way for you and your guests to travel round the canals in one of the oldest forms of transport!
From the salon of the boat you have a spectacular view of the unique classic architecture for which Amsterdam is famous, including the charismatic gables and other historical monuments situated on the water. When the weather is pleasant the roof and sides can be opened to make the most of the weather, and it is also possible to enjoy the fresh air from the back deck.
The Jacob van Lennep has been fitted with all the modern comforts to make your cruise a memorable one, including a bar, toilet, heating and music facilities for cd’s and I-pods. The interior can be rearranged to suit your needs.

Boat rental: € 225,- per hour ex 6% tax with a minimum rental period of two hours
Includes captain and a hostess, free pick-up within the central canal area.
Pick-ups outside of the city center, waiting, etc at a reduced rate of € 150,- per hour or part thereof. Addittional waitresses if needed at € 29,50- per hour.
